Training Format

We offer a flexible, supportive and motivating training environment that allows all ages and abilities, first-timers and seasoned athletes alike, with an interest in swimming, biking and running, to share and enjoy a healthy active life-style.

We all train together which allows you to help and learn from each other. It is not required or necessary that you show up for all the scheduled group training sessions. Show up when you can and do as much as you have time for. No need to worry.

In the first phase of the training you will develop and refine the basic skills of each discipline along with improving general fitness. You learn and become proficient in swimming, biking and running while establishing the foundation for everything else.

In the second phase, the training’s focus shifts towards endurance and strength. You will also improve you stamina and mental toughness.

In the third phase, we will work a bit on speed and on issues related to completing a triathlon including the transition.

This time-tested successful training format allows you to maximize your learning and meet and surpass your personal fitness goals.

The format has also allowed everybody to successfully complete every event they entered and for the many great personal results and accomplishments they have had over the years.

Training Components
  1. Weekly Group Training Sessions.
    Weekday sessions: 45-60 min.
    Weekend sessions: 75-90 min.
  2. Self-Paced Workouts.
    Workouts designed with individual goals in mind.
  3. Informal Training.
    Join other women for training during the week.

We help you combine these components in a way that best fits into your schedule and maximize your training and time. As your goals change, training options and modifications are suggested and incorporated into your training.

Training Locations: They vary according to what training aspects and discipline(s) we are working on. That makes for fun and challenging training options, it shows you new places to train, and it helps you develop new skills and continually improve.

Training Times: During the week the meeting times vary between 6:00pm and 8:00pm. The Saturday workouts are at 8:00am.

Training Days: We meet two or three times per week. The days we meet vary from week to week in order to spread the workouts out evenly over all the weekdays.

Some days, times and locations will work for you and some will not. Not to worry…show up when you can and have fun while you stay fit.
